Dr. Nne‑Eka Uneabasi Esubok, MBChB, MWACP, serves as Director - Community Health Programs at Ascending Health Foundation (Nigeria), the implementation arm of Bridging-Health Int'l (BHI) U.S.A. She brings strong clinical and public health expertise to the design and implementation of community‑based health interventions. A medical doctor and public health physician experienced in community medicine, epidemiology, maternal and child health, and infectious disease control.
Dr. Nne‑Eka holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile‑Ife, and is a Member of the West African College of Physicians (Public Health). She is currently completing her Residency Fellowship in Community Medicine at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH), where she serves as a Senior Registrar in the Department of Community Medicine.
She has extensive experience working across rural and urban health systems, including participation in large‑scale immunization programmes, disease surveillance, and outbreak response, with prior contributions to national public health emergency efforts in collaboration with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). Her clinical and public health work spans child welfare services, maternal health, infectious disease management, and health promotion.
At BHI, Dr. Esubok leads and supports community health outreach, preventive health initiatives, and program implementation, ensuring that interventions are evidence‑informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with public health best practices.
