About the Role
The IT & Media Support Volunteer will assist with the organization's digital presence, technology operations, multimedia content development, and online engagement. The volunteer will work closely with BHI leadership and program teams to support communications, outreach, and organizational visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Support social media management and digital communications.
- Create and edit graphics, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Assist with video editing, content creation, and multimedia production.
- Support livestreams, webinars, and virtual meetings as needed.
- Assist with website updates and basic website administration.
- Provide basic IT support for organizational activities and projects.
- Contribute innovative ideas to strengthen BHI's online presence and community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Background or interest in Information Technology, Computer Science, Media Studies, Communications, Graphic Design, or related fields.
- Experience with website management, social media platforms, or video editing tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, sharepoint, or similar applications is desirable.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multicultural team.
- Passion for community service and global health initiatives.

- Coordinate and support Advocacy Clubs established in participating schools.

Ascending Health Foundation and Bridging‑Health International are seeking a mission‑driven leader with a background in clinical community health, public health, or healthcare administration to provide high‑level strategic oversight for our rural public health intervention programs in Akwa Ibom State. This position focuses on strategic leadership, not day-to-day operations—making the time requirement of up to 3 hours weekly both reasonable and appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for public health interventions and community programs
- Review ongoing data collection, evaluation reports, and outcome assessments
- Support collaborations with schools, health agencies, partner organizations
- Offer professional guidance to volunteer clinicians, researchers, and project leads

Required Qualifications
