He is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Heartland St. Louis Black Chamber of Commerce, where he champions access to capital, mentorship, and opportunities for Black‑owned businesses and entrepreneurs. Mr. Steele’s career spans public service and private enterprise. He previously served in municipal economic development leadership roles and later founded and managed successful businesses contributing to major infrastructure and cultural projects across St. Louis.
