Barr. Ubong S. Uwakmfon serves as Chief Legal Director at Bridging-Health Int'l (BHI), providing strategic legal leadership and regulatory guidance for the organization’s operations and compliance matters relating to Nigeria. He holds a Barrister‑at‑Law (B.L)from the University of Ibadan and Master of Laws (LL.M) in Energy Law from the University of Ibadan. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy(PhD) in Renewable Energy at the University of Ibadan, with a research focuses on “Off‑Grid Renewable Energy Legal Regime and the Actualisation of Nigeria’s Climate Change Obligations,” within the Department of Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law under the Faculty of Multidisciplinary Studies.
In his executive role, Ubong advises BHI on legal risk management, regulatory obligations, policy formulation, and governance standards, ensuring ethical, lawful, and accountable operations. His work supports compliance‑driven decision‑making aligned with Nigerian legal and regulatory frameworks.
In addition to his executive responsibilities, Ubong serves as a Member - Board of Directors, where he performs fiduciary oversight functions and contributes to governance, compliance, and organizational stewardship.
