Sam B. Uko is a distinguished Rotarian and accomplished leader in humanitarian service, partnerships, and organizational development. He served as District Governor of Rotary International, District 9142 (2019–2020), providing leadership across multiple states in southeastern Nigeria and advancing impactful initiatives in disease prevention, education, maternal and child health, and community development.
A respected advocate for leadership capacity building, PDG Uko has also served as Vice Chairman of the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI), Nigeria Division, contributing to the training and development of Rotarians nationwide.
At Bridging Health International (BHI), he serves as Advisory Board Member – Leadership & Organizational Development, where he provides strategic guidance on governance, leadership strengthening, and sustainable organizational growth in support of BHI’s mission.
